So recently I had a RAID failure and was wishing we had a hot spare option - any further insight into this, 4 years down?

Sorry for the bump - Does this mean referral codes do nothing anymore? (I'd like to remove my ref codes from forum signatures if so)

Publii looks interesting. For the people that use Publii, are there more themes than what's available on their own Marketplace?

Ghost and Grav are still kind of CMSes which I wouldn't consider static..

Static site generators are aplenty. I prefer Hugo but here's a list

Some backup programs can use S3 as a backend - think Restic, Kopia or even Cloudron.
Some can use S3 as a backend storage as well - Peertube, Chevereto, Pixelfed.

  • Trilium Next
    T threetrees3

Trilium is now in "maintenance" mode.

They have been forked to Trillium Next, which the first discussion appear to mention that they'd be available for a release soonTM.

How would Cloudron be handling this? Separate app? Just replacing it much like PaperlessNGx?

Hey there, I exclusively use SFTP to manage my static site and would rather not have the site.com/_admin exposed.

Is there a way to disable the web interface?

  • Cost of Hosting Videos
    T threetrees3

How much space do you require? Do you care if the videos are served from one location, meaning not through a CDN?

The most cost economical option could possibly be a dedicated server in RAID-1 like Hetzner that gives you unmetered bandwidth with 4TB of space.

  • Monitor incoming port 25
    T threetrees3

    Hi all,

I have recently migrated servers to another provider.

I only realised that Port 25 is blocked both outgoing and incoming at this provider after 24 hours of not receiving email.
(I tested email by sending between two email addresses that are both hosted on the same server; d'oh)

I was wondering if there's a way for Cloudron to monitor incoming port 25 in addition to the checks that are done on the /email page [https://imgur.com/a/Q4aGm3u] ?

    Thank you!

    @girish

My server is hosted in Singapore by Hosthatch (M247). There does appear to be a significant speed issues with an eclectic selection of hosts.

Disabling IPv6 seems to help a bit. Though, I am migrating servers as we speak.

Thanks again for working out the issue! Much appreciate the speedy support.
