I have improved the check now to see if there is atleast 1GB before applying an update.

I did not follow the upgrade tutorial for 16.04 → 18.04 → 20.04 entirely because I have some minor adjustments on the server that were blocking the upgrade. Also, there was a minor issue with docker in the past, where I edited the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list so this whole problem was my fault 🙂

I had to do the same thing before it was implemented to be changed under System -> Services in cloudron. By the way, the documentation is missing for it 😉

We are working on fixing this disk space issue which occurs so often.

A bunch of mods are already installed, but not activated.

I would separate this into:

Activating already installed mods Installing and activating new monds

As others said, usually the cron job is part of the app itself. If for some reason you want to run some cron task outside the scope of the app, then you can use a script like below and put it in the crontab of your server.

#!/bin/bash # this is the app's domain name app="test.smartserver.space" # detect the container id of the app container_id=$(docker ps -q -f label=fqdn=$app -f label=isSubcontainer=false) echo "App container id is : $container_id" # we can now run arbitrary commands in the container. below we run a command as the www-data user. docker exec $container_id sudo -u www-data ls -l

After the update I can install the app and register an account. Everything seems to work.

Solution:

use a SMTP mail solution sendmail (and the mail()) are not usable in current state PHPMailer could be used as an alternative

Is here any update? I think cloudron could be an amazing tool to bring more people into the fediverse apps.
