I have improved the check now to see if there is atleast 1GB before applying an update.

@girish @nebulon I did not follow the upgrade tutorial for 16.04 → 18.04 → 20.04 entirely because I have some minor adjustments on the server that were blocking the upgrade. Also, there was a minor issue with docker in the past, where I edited the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list so this whole problem was my fault

I had to do the same thing before it was implemented to be changed under System -> Services in cloudron. By the way, the documentation is missing for it

Yeah the idea was to just setup an oidc client credentials set with a redirect URI for the app, but not actually configuring the lamp stack to also use this. Same as with LDAP credentials. You can test the branch from https://git.cloudron.io/packages/lamp-app/-/tree/oidc-support?ref_type=heads if you know your way around building a custom app. Once installed you have to create an OpenID client in your Cloudron dashboard with /secure/redirect_uri and put the following in /app/data/apache/app.conf: # OIDCRedirectURI is a vanity URL that must point to a path protected by this module but must NOT point to any content OIDCRedirectURI https://<your.lampapp.domain>/secure/redirect_uri OIDCCryptoPassphrase somethingsecret OIDCProviderMetadataURL https://<my.example.com>/.well-known/openid-configuration OIDCClientID <clientId> OIDCClientSecret <secret> Then restart the app and then you may put those two lines in any .htaccess within your public/ folder which you want to protect from public access: AuthType openid-connect Require valid-user

As others said, usually the cron job is part of the app itself. If for some reason you want to run some cron task outside the scope of the app, then you can use a script like below and put it in the crontab of your server. #!/bin/bash # this is the app's domain name app="test.smartserver.space" # detect the container id of the app container_id=$(docker ps -q -f label=fqdn=$app -f label=isSubcontainer=false) echo "App container id is : $container_id" # we can now run arbitrary commands in the container. below we run a command as the www-data user. docker exec $container_id sudo -u www-data ls -l

@girish Thank you. The update appears at my cloudron. After the update I can install the app and register an account. Everything seems to work.

@fbartels @girish Thank you for the support. Solution: use a SMTP mail solution sendmail (and the mail()) are not usable in current state PHPMailer could be used as an alternative

Is here any update? I think cloudron could be an amazing tool to bring more people into the fediverse apps.
