Finally got around to adding the docs for this route: https://docs.cloudron.io/api.html#tag/Apps/operation/installApp

@dsp76 that line is outdated, I will fix it. Cloudron apps do see the remote IP. In the past, they were hidden. But we got enough complaints that event logs inside apps were not useful anymore with internal private IPs. So, we have fixed up apps to have access to the Client/remote IP.

@darren if you hit any issues, feel free to ask here.

Thanks for reporting. I already fixed this in git a couple of weeks ago, will get fixed in next release. I am reworking the docs around the user management feature and hence why things are moving around.

@girish Did some testing. I think you are right. The distance is reducing the bandwidth I guess.

@yeku I understand the points, but I have only seen a couple of errors, and they haven't prevented me getting the message or successfully using Cloudron.

I think Cloudron have enough work running a fantastic architecture. The community here can help out @girish free of charge with great enthusiasm. Errors just need to be reported and they can be fixed quickly.

@Mallewax I think this depends on the webmail app, more than on the platform itself. Not totally sure though, I am not particularly familiar with the inner workings of the email protocols
