I wonder if it's these tools that are failing/ getting it wrong. I note the I seem unable to check DNS or rDNS stuff on Hetzner using MXToolbox recently. Perhaps Hetzner are blocking it at their end or something.

Could be that your mails getting undelivered is unrelated. Are you on Hetzner Cloud? Have you checked if you're on spam blacklists? In the past I've ended up on blacklists because I was in the same range of spammers.

It was happening across multiple servers at the same time yesterday. Looks to be resolved now.

So i found the error, it is because Hetzner close the port 25 by default on new dedicater server, so you just have to ask them to open it.

Auctions are on dedicated hardware servers only.
Since Hetzner does not offer dedicated servers in the USA afaik there is nothing to be auctioned on 🙂

Yeah, my backup of about 350GB takes about 2 hours (from a Hetzner Dedicated Server in Finland Helsinki (HEL1) to a Heztner Storage Box in Falkenstein (FSN1))

IMHO your issue is very likely due to those "too good to be true" iDrive offer pricing they had which I guess you went for.

My new set up has a main drive that's encrypted and another for local backups, which is also encrypted but unlocks after decrypting the main boot/data drive.

Thanks again for your setup guide. Just got a new server and its up and running. May I ask how you'd setup your system, so that additional drives are also encrypted and unlock after decrypting the main drive?

@kk_cloudron that is correct, Cloudron requires IPv4 and does not work on IPv6 only servers (yet).

Just purge contents of the folder or delete the folder and recreate it with the same permissions. Other bits of Linux sometimes put logs there.

I would recommend you to use WebDAV instead of CIFS
it will be faster as WebDAV is more modern and appropriate for extended network (non LAN).
