@girish This actually answered my question. I was ultimately concerned with performance for my "various sources" of content

@privsec Maybe it's the same issue: from time to time there is no way to see anything with the iOS yellyfin app. That's when I kill the iOS app and restart. Boom. It works again.

I messed up. I'm updating my custom my apps through my CI and I misconfigured it. I pushed an app that did not use ldap on to jellyfin and when I reverted back to proper jellyfin, it forget that it had ldap. I just edited the evars for the container and now it works. I'll just keep an eye on it for the next update.

@AartJansen this sounds a bit like an upstream app issue rather than Cloudron related. But maybe someone else here tried to use audiobooks with jellyfin already to give some feedback?

Which, security wise is probably very stupid. but recently I have been able to upload a 10gig file and I have been slowly adding to my collection. You can mark as resolved if desired, but I will report back if it fails again

@nebulon the only thing I changed, after it was not working, was the servername in the general-settings, from an UUID to the fqdn, in the hope it would be better. that's all. sorry, I double thought of that also, but no, I haven't. I remember that after creating the instance I did set up my usual admin account & then had to add my personal user-account manually, I assumed there was no LDAP-connection (like wallabag), but did'nt check on it due to timely-restrictions. (means also NO time to fiddle with the setup) only after I added more users to it I checked for an LDAP-plugin and saw it is existent, but was not working. also - due to timely-restirctions - not investigating why it didn't work out of the box. since I had some time now, I started investigating, especially, since I had to create more and more user-accounts all way long, as the provided media gained on interests. after 35 years of systemadministration, I know, sometimes unexplainable things happen – it's just not always straight forward as it everyone would suspect. hab's gut derweil cheers günter

@atrilahiji right, I found out too, as music player it’s useless, it stops as soon as the phone screen goes out. Also build in AirPlay is not available.

Never used Git, will keep that in mind for reporting any issues that I might come across with Cloudron apps! Now that I know that shared volumes is what I'm after (I thought it might be different somehow if it was a specific permission for an app to read data outside of it's docker container), how can I set up and use a shared volume if it's not exposed on the interface? Or is this something that's not trivial and best left alone till it's stably implemented?
