ok update.
it actually does seam like a valuable option, and heres why.
in order for cloudron to run its "magic", it'd need a portmap, EG mapping port 1000000 to port 443.
so if you set, example, your tunnel, and put, rather than 1.2.3.4, you could put 1.2.3.4:1000000.
i'm wondering what people like @girish would think of this.
especially sense this has never been updated untill now.
@jdaviescoates said in more posts about cloudron:
2 x 512 GB SSD Drives
I believe configured by default as RAID, so for those skim reading, be aware that it is 512Gb available for use, but with some data protection.
And yes, much better value than the standard offerings.
@girish thanks. i plan to do more talks about cloudron, mainly tutorials. my next tutorial i think is gonna be how to use cloudron as sso for cloudflare access authentication. have'nt decided indefinitely yet. its either gonna be that, or i might start simple in user configuration and stuf like that.
For the app tasks, an 'x' button will appear on the right of the progress bar after 3 minutes or so. It's like this because once you cancel the task, you have to go to the Repair tab to bring it back up. We didn't want to show an 'x' immediately and complicate things.
@timconsidine o.
appologies, i'm bad at explaining things.
basically, the application will ask for a web bug URL.
then, a redirect made, here sis an example, if i wanted to make a honeypot app that seams to contain social security numbers, socialsecurity.blindsoft.net
that redirect to the social security numbers honeypot.
the honeypot URLs look like this.
examplerandomlettersandnumbers.canarytokens.com
@girish said in trying to use cloudron openid connect with cloudflare0trust:
@
ok i tryed that.
only problem, it keeps changing the token, the zero-trust does. everytime i put it in, it puts like 34more bullets (what i hear on the screen reader when trying to enter) in the tokens field.
the reasoning for using cloudflareaccess would be to insure that my admins need approval before accessing the box. cloudron doesn't offer that level of security. also for me, i illiminate the threat of public internet access by only filtering ports to cloudflare at the firewall level. currently, there is no good way to run cloudflare argo tunnels on cloudron.
@girish there are no errors, just an empty reply.
though when i put "https" in front of it, it says certificate error, cant get local certificate issuer
however, i have tryed to follow the docs.
however, when trying to get into a test application i made for this perpus, it didn't work and it kept telling me that it didn't exist, even when typing in the12diget ID. i couldn't bash into it. so yeah. and if i attempted to put this on the system itself, that could cause many problems, or potentially break cloudron.
