Fill your profile with a list or a LinkTr.ee that has them all. @jdaviescoates said in Setting Up Cloudron on SSDnodes: It's really easy to install Cloudron anywhere. yep I installed Cloudron on SSDNODES without any issues ... before moving it to Hetzner. Never had any stability issues at SSDNODES but definitely you can't load them with heavy usage. And bear in mind that SSDNODES 'bargain' is only really on 3 year terms. 1 year pricing is good but not not overly attractive.

Is this somehow in the context of Cloudron? I am asking, since this is a Cloudron related forum, however it is totally possible that others here are maybe able to help you out.

@nebulon sure. Not sure how it is now, bet if the name gracefully overflowed under the elements to the right, it wouldn't push them.

I checked and got this result. Indeed, with large file sizes, I had problems with backup. (Archive size less than 3 GB was transferred to the nextcloud without problems. With a larger one, an error almost always occurred when copying or restoring.) Thanks for the advice. I was really interested to see the result. The topic can be considered closed. Thanks to all.

tl;dr - If you have the above problem apt install python3-magic . Then, run apt update . On another server, unattended-upgrades package was missing as well (!) Not sure how because Cloudron installs it at install time. So, install it and run unattended-upgrade -d.

@ekevu123 don't see why not. Running selfhosted custom apps is part of Cloudron. We run many custom apps which expose an API (but mostly nodejs). https://ipv4.api.cloudron.io/api/v1/helper/public_ip and https://ipv6.api.cloudron.io/api/v1/helper/public_ip for example gives your public IP.

@scooke yes, it won't remove your existing records and won't touch things outside scope of Cloudron (which is basically app records and email records).

@LoudLemur I use cryptomator to encrypt sensitive files that I have on my nextcloud. Your use case is a bit trickier as you have multiple people working on the same file simultaneously. Take a look at the existing apps in the App Store like collabora, onlyoffice, and cryptpad. Cryptpad might be your best option though as it’s end to end encrypted. Edit: There’s also baserow and noco. I’m not sure if the databases are encrypted.

@humptydumpty It was more about the apps within that ecosystem that the blog article references. Univention, as fas as I know, is one of the few ways to offer Active Directory Services without a Microsoft Server, so it does have unique use-cases. Just a similar but different tool, that happens to also champion open-source.

@girish okay, I thought this was selective for web based apps that it makes sense to limit in that way, not for the entire cloudron all at once. For any affected mobile apps, one can use a pw enabled proxy-redirect to a secondary domain of the App.
