Yup, saw that! It's on my todo list now to update peertube accordingly.

This looks really nice. Probably the only google product we use is reCapatcha (for this forum). I should try switching to hcaptcha because why not.

@mehdi Not sure I know enough yet about handling updates, patches & security so just running in good faith on all that at the mo. Happy? Yes. Confident? Sure - until something goes wrong Just always thinking about prevention being better than cure.

I made a copy of my profile folder and upgraded. My Mail Accounts were visible in settings but not in the folder pane(?). Reverted as I did not have time to dive deeper into the issue. Also, the TbSync Addon is only in beta for 78, though apparently they are working with staff to get it integrated like Lightning.

@nebulon @ultraviolet I actually quite liked just seeing people post about app packages in the relevant app wishlist thread, with WIP tag added once someone has packaged an app... ... But I'm not an app packager myself and if those who are like @ultraviolet think this new category will be useful I'm cool with that

Yes as @girish mentioned, that dialog itself could probably use some rework. I will see what can be improved for 6.0 then, the main appstore view was more important from our perspective to make things more discoverable. So I agree the actual install dialog is logical next. That "install" button being pushed out of the screen on small displays is a longstanding issue as well.

@girish I think all these % numbers are a bit misleading and opinionated - but as you rightly detail it's a case of looking at the appropriateness of each item and reasonability. It's impossible to know or remember everything but still a nice too for a quick review to see if there's any easy wins, and I suppose the scoring mechanism could be handy marketing for some once a certain level is considered reasonably hardened.

Warning for Backblaze region selection! Especially if EU GDPR laws or just US privacy is a concern. If (like me) you have an account that's been open since before they added the EU-Central (Amsterdam) region - there's no way to set any other region than the one you selected (defaulted) when creating your account. The only way to have a different region with Backblaze is with separate accounts. Wasabi is my other alternative and costs less if you have a lot of ingress or are in the hundreds of Gigabytes bracket, and want region-selection in one account, but Backblaze is the cheapest and trusted option I know up to say half a terabyte. No harm in having an account with both though if you like having options. I like to keep backup object storage away from the main host, although if you were backing up hourly or something else bandwidth heavy then same provider attached storage is pretty safe and usually held in triplicate across hardware.

@girish Sure, agreed - and somewhat from experience I've found the costs/benefits of high-availability can almost all be achieved with a solid backup/permissions/restore strategy - for which you already cover really well so links just for reference on low-cost managed K8S hosting really. Rancher 2 is the closest alternative I know of but even that is complicated enough.

@marcuswquinn PHP uses bcrypt by default. It's not a hostable app for Cloudron, but some apps do use it.
