@Vladimir Can you explain a bit more what the issue you are trying to solve is and what is that config you have posted? I see that it's some redis config, but what are you looking to achieve?

@Vladimir Sounds like a popular site with lots of traffic.

Sounds like you found one reason to be the translation plugin.

You should be able to view the apache logs and monitor for errors, similarly for long DB calls which might make things wait, but then you'd notice site slowness from that too.

Right now there is no official way of doing this.
And also I would not recommend of doing this.

But against my advice, and now this is theoretical, I have not tried it but in theory it should work.
Yes you could do that even, semi permanent.

You could edit the image of the app on the server and commit the changes.

If you know there is a problem AND you know how to fix it, why don't you commit your change?

The cache directory is moved to
/run/mautic/var/cache

Use the terminal to delete the files.

@vladimir What other configurations are needed by redisearch though? I think it needs to be laid out specifically so that the amazing Cloudron team can figure out what can be safely added if any to the current redis server configuration, or if it's configurations needed within the WordPress server/app instead, etc. When you deploy redissearch, does it error on anything, what errors does it provide in the user interface and the logs for example?

@vladimir Yes, you can simple upgrade the VPS, nothing to do be done in Cloudron itself.

@vladimir Usually for LAMP app, we tend to create separate apps. i.e LAMP 7.3, 7.4 and in the future 8, are totally separate apps. So, your app won't update automatically.

For addons which are shared across apps, we don't have a way to do this. I guess one idea is to have the app "pin" itself to a specific mysql version and that way we will have multiple mysql databases with different versions running in parallel. Doable but quite complicated! I think @luckow also reported that MySQL 8 broke his drupal app.

Good news is that I don't expect such a big upgrade any time soon.

@vladimir I can also recommend sending a test mail to https://mail-tester.com to check if you have setup the DNS records required for the external email server correctly.

@vladimir Can you try this change https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/box/-/commit/bedcd6fccf58830b316318699375bc1f582a5d7a ? The file on Cloudron is /home/yellowtent/box/src/storage/s3.js. Essentially change the timeout from 3000 * 1000 to 0. And also change maxRetries to 10. You don't need to restart anything after the change since the code changes are immediately picked up.

In some ways, I think this is what POP is for (I think) but we don't support it.

@Vladimir Can you check /home/yellowtent/boxdata/mail/vmail on the server? There is a directory for each mailbox. If you enter the mailbox, there is a sieve directory. You can just delete the entire directory to remove the rules and then restart the mail server, in case dovecot had cached it.

(You can also do a quick grep on the address in the above directory to see if it's referenced anywhere else).

@Stardenver Well I had a customers server that he wanted the mail limit upped from 40Mb to 60Mb... and I thought I had done that, but couldn't send a big enough email to test.
I have no idea why they 'need' it, its usually some self-employed boss who doesn't know better, or can't be told.
I make the changes they ask for, and charge for my time.

@nebulon Thanks, this was the reason for my problem. After I uncheck "mounted filesystem" Cloudron was updated to 5.4.1

@Vladimir Indeed. This solution is documented in the Managed WP docs and not in the unmanaged one - https://cloudron.io/documentation/apps/wordpress/#cron-tasks . I will fix it up.
