Actually, it seems a better way to confirm this is the apt package version and not the dovecot version. The latest one (i.e one which will be in next release) shows this: root@e4d2eb1cba0b:/app/haraka# apt list --installed 2>/dev/null | grep dovecot-core dovecot-core/bionic-updates,bionic-security,now 1:2.2.33.2-1ubuntu4.7 amd64 [installed] The current cloudron container has 1:2.2.33.2-1ubuntu4.6

Yup. I went with setting it at the app level (nodemailer method). I was just curious if this was in any way masked at the cloudron platform side. Thanks for the clarification @girish

As I saw in the folders, Iphone has two kind of sent message folders: Sent Message Sent So as @d19dotca and @marcusquinn stated, on Thunderbird emails was saved in "Sent", but on iphone in "Sent Messages". When I configured emails who was on Cpanel iphone saved emails in "Sent". But when I configured email from Cloudron, iphone saved email in Sent Messages. Thant's why it was like I had missing email from Thunderbird and vice versa. Workaround is to configure the same folder and when adding Cloudron email on iphone, be sure to follow @d19dotca instruction. Thank's a lot! [image: 1606643259222-img_2488-resized.png]

@ianhyzy I registered a new domain just for this purpose. It's not ideal but I don't have to use a relay so it works out in the end. I'm hosting with DigitalOcean so the PTR record is set by changing the server (droplet) name to match the mail server domain. Last I checked my headers, all were good and pointing to the new domain setup. Edit: BTW, I've used Amazon SES for my newsletters in the past and they're pretty cheap. IIRC, I sent like 9k emails for under $1 USD.

@d19dotca Ah, I see this on our server as well. It seems that this is printed for all incoming mails because Haraka tries to transfer mail to Dovecot via TLS (via LMTP). Disabling SSL removes the message. Since the message transfer is internal, it's fine. I have pushed the fix for next release but the message is safe to ignore.

@girish thank you for the insight. If I am extending the existing drive then I'll make sure to keep it SSD as it already is, I may try HDD if going the first route though. I'll check, this isn't an easy task for extending the existing disk unfortunately, but this may be the better move. Of course the drawback there I guess is I'll be paying for way too much disk space and need to do it all over again if I for example lose one of the clients that are using so much email space (as email is the single biggest consumer on my server right now, by a lot). I'll have to run some tests.

As long as the IP doesn't change from my. to mail. no clients need immediate reconfiguration. The Reverse DNS is something that I also wanted to change for vanity reasons, but not at the expense of email. Now I can.

why not simply manage a local cloudron.local domain in hosts or local DNS then?
